Function and Structure of Vacuum Emulsifier

vacuum emulsifying machineBefore the spray drying of the material, the suspension composed of the filter cake and purified water is sheared into a fine particle size by the high-speed shearing action of the emulsifying head, so as to control the particle size of the dried material in a suitable range. Each emulsifier is provided with a feed inlet and purified water pipeline at the upper part, a discharge valve at the bottom, and an inlet and outlet valve for interlayer cooling circulating water (low inlet and high inlet). It is composed of slow mixing system, fast homogeneous mixing system, heating/cooling system, upper cover lifting system, feeding and discharging system and safety control system.

The functions of each system of vacuum emulsifying machine are as follows:
Slow mixing system: It is a low-speed mixing system with two rotating in opposite directions, consisting of a hanger and blades full of scrapers. The speed can be directly adjusted by the frequency converter. Upon stirring, two separate countercurrent flows are generated. One is that the vertical flow along the center forces the material to flow to the bottom of the container to ensure the rapid feeding of the material to the bottom of the homogenizer for homogeneous emulsification. The other is a circumferential annular flow that forces the material around the inner wall of the mixing vessel in order to exchange heat during the heating and cooling stages and to avoid damage to the material due to overheating or overcooling.
Fast homogeneous mixing system: is composed of a stator and a rotor emulsifying head, by the frequency control speed control, high speed up to 3500r/min. Under the high-speed operation of the emulsifying head, the material in the tank is continuously cut and broken into fine particles, thus completing the homogenization.
Heating and cooling system: steam heating or cooling water cooling through the emulsion tank jacket. Heating/cooling can control the temperature of the material in the tank through the temperature controller.
Vacuum emulsifier upper cover lifting system: the upper cover lifting is a cover opening process. It is composed of oil cylinder, solenoid valve, overflow valve, oil tank and pressure maintaining valve, and is equipped with safety limiting system, which can keep the upper cover in any desired position.
Material inlet and outlet system: it can be entered through the pipe installed on the upper cover, or the material can be put into the manhole. When discharging, it can discharge through the discharge valve at the bottom. Safety control system: when the upper cover of the emulsion tank is not properly docked with the container, the tightness is not enough and the operation cannot be started. When the upper cover is open, the mixing and emulsifying head cannot be activated. The limit micro switch automatically performs opening/closing of the upper cover. The control device does not allow the material in the tank to reach the boiling point.
